Meet Pebble, kickstarter's shining jewel of crowd source funding!

This beautiful watch you see above is not only an amazing looking watch but it is also a great app platform to integrate with your iPhone or android. With the short period this has been on kickstarter it has raised millions of dollars and already has tons of developers ready to try out this platform.

What is so special? Well it's display is an e-ink display that can connect with your phone to view weather, SMS messages and other notifications from your phone. With the platform it provides any other app a way it can transmit info to the watch as well ,such as, gps info or exercise data. With the creator of runkeeper already on board to be compatible at launch I seems that this little device has a lot of promise. If I were Apple or Google I would be arching this closely because this may be a good acquisition just like SIRI.

 

Look for this to hit shelves in September with an estimated price tag somewhere between $125 and $150.
