PetHub is a new startup that offers some great and affordable features that can be used to keep tabs on your pets.
PetHub, who recently got a nice $1.3 million in seed money to expand, offers some neat ideas on the whole pet tracking area.
You can get name tags or other accessories with info and a QR code that will allow people who find your lost pet to scan the QR code from their smartphone and you will be instantly alerted to the location of where your pet is at that moment. They also have added an 800 number to the service for those that are less tech savvy to be able to contact you if they find your pet. You can also have it tell the finder your information, the pet's allergies and medications, dietary needs, immunizations, vet insurance details, and more.
Now they offer a basic service, the details of which were just mentioned for a one time fee of $12.95. They also offer a Silver and Gold offer with additional features like email alerts with GPS Data, shelter alerts, and insurance plans. This is a pretty neat service and I for one am going to sign up for this service for my Husky. Go to PetHub and check out what they have to offer yourself.
