For the reason of simply no one ever used it, facebook over the weekend decided to change everyones default email address to their @facebook.com address. I really do not see why facebook would try something like this without first asking for peoples permissions first. Have you ever used your @facebook email address? Yeah neither have I. So, on your profile if someone was looking for your email address it wouldn't give them the address you actually use but the @facebook.com address instead. This is annoying, and I assume you have to go back into settings in order to change this back for yourself. That is if it will stay that way this time. I have a feeling that facebook will get a lot of bad press for this and in my opinion it is well earned. They have no right to change your information that you have specified on your profile page. If they really wanted us to use their email service then maybe they should of made a better product to for us to want to use it.
