The Nexus 7 inch tablet from Google is real.
After many rumors and leaks Google today announced their competitor to the Amazon Kindle Fire. You have here a Nexus 7 inch tablet made by Assus and being sold by Google for $199. The specs on this tablet blow the Kindle Fire out of the water and pretty much make this a no brainer of a choice between the two. Preorders start today and will ship sometime mid July.
The specs are:
1280 x 800 HD screen
Tegra 3 Processor
Front - facing camera
Wifi, Bluetooth, & NFC
8 and 16 gig models
1 gig of ram
9 hours of HD video
This tablet looks really nice and it is hard to believe it will only be $199 as it offers a lot more than the Kindle Fire does and will have full access to the Google Play store which the Kindle Fire also does not have.
Check out the introduction of the tablet below.
